Philipp Klöckner

Philipp ‘Pip’ Klöckner worked as an in-house SEO, product manager and CMO at Germany's market-leading price comparison site Idealo.de from 2005 to 2011. He then went on to help shape numerous international marketplaces, classifieds, vertical searches and other aggregators with regard to digital marketing, product and business intelligence for Rocket Internet, the start-up incubator of the Samwer brothers. Over the past 15 years, Philipp has been actively involved in over 100 start-ups and growth companies, a good dozen of which have achieved the coveted unicorn status. Since 2017, Philipp Klöckner mainly advises various top tier private equity firms, venture capital funds and growth companies and invests in startups himself as an angel investor (portfolio).
