Catrin Schröder-Jaross

Catrin Schröder-Jaross is like the female nerd version of MacGyver. But instead of using chewing gum and paper clips, she works with lines of code and server logs. As a child, she wrote her first programs on the computer or immersed herself in "Day of the Tentacle." Her passion for IT became her career path: after stints at renowned companies like mobile.de and OTTO, she gained experience in numerous Hamburg start-ups. Today, she works as a project manager at adesso SE, with a particular focus on retail, cloud, and cybersecurity.

Even her free time is digitally oriented: Catrin teaches at the ReDi School of Digital Integration, where she supports young talents with migration backgrounds. Additionally, she co-hosts the podcast "Mind The Tech - Cyber, Crime, Gesellschaft," where she discusses the impact of digitalization on society and exciting cybercrime cases.
