Hendrik Janßen is CISO of the Bauer Media Group. He first encountered IT security more than a decade ago caused by a university research project on the Conficker worm. Janßen was a soldier in the German Armed Forces for 12 years, most recently in the area of cybersecurity. Since 2016, he has continuously driven the development of IT security at Bauer, and in 2019 he was appointed Group CISO.
