Christian Tinnefeld advises national and international clients on all aspects of data protection law, European data regulation, artificial intelligence and IT and cyber security law. He supports organisations in digital transformation projects, regulatory compliance initiatives, and the development of sustainable compliance frameworks. His current areas of focus include EU Data Act implementation, IT security, particularly cyber incident preparedness, cyber incident response, the NIS2 framework and the Cyber Resilience Act, as well as AI governance and regulatory aspects of artificial intelligence.
Christian has extensive experience in designing, negotiating, and implementing complex contracts, policies, and governance frameworks in these areas. He also advises clients on establishing and enhancing compliance programmes and represents them in proceedings before data protection authorities, other regulatory bodies and courts. Christian is passionate about designing and performing practical workshops, training sessions and executive briefings on data protection, data regulation, artificial intelligence, IT law, and technology-related topics.
