Dr. Fatbardh Veseli

The focus of this presentation is on Cloud Security and the experiences and challenges in establishing and implementing a robust cybersecurity strategy for infrastructure resources in the cloud. Valuable insights into best practices and experiences in implementing cybersecurity, particularly in the area of Infrastructure Hardening in the context of Cloud Computing, will be provided. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the key considerations and strategies required to ensure the resilience of cloud-based infrastructures. 
The speaker has over 17 years of professional experience in IT, including more than 13 years working on IT security projects in various industries such as the public sector, automotive, transportation, and energy. As an architect and a Ph.D. in computer science, his goal is to create structure amidst chaos. In addition to his work in IT security, he is also active in other areas, including involvement with the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). This brings valuable experiences and expertise to the presentation. He holds several industry certifications, such as CISSP, PSM I, TOGAF, Prince2, ISO 27001, SAFE, ITIL, CIPT, CIPM, etc.
