Patrick Ghion joined the Geneva State Police in 1997, following five years of experience at Swiss Banks. Since 2015, he has served as Executive Head of Forensic Sciences, developing the strategy for cyber investigations through a triad of Analysts, Investigators, and Forensic Specialists. This long-coming strategy led him to build and run the Regional Cyber Competence Center for Western Switzerland (RC3) in 2019. Since 2023, he has served as the Chief Cyber Strategy Officer at the Geneva State Police, while also maintaining his duties at RC3. He is currently responsible for developing strategies to combat new forms of cybercrime linked to emerging technologies and for building partnerships between Law Enforcement agencies and the Public, Private, and academic sectors at the International Level.
